Blusink was founded by two passionate ocean advocates, Lorena and Anjana, who first met at sea during a research cruise while studying at the Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research. Their shared love for the ocean and commitment to environmental sustainability sparked an idea that would eventually grow into Blusink.
A few years later, Lorena convinced Anjana to join her in bringing their vision to life—and the rest is ocean history.

We’re looking to team up with people and organisations who have access to seafloor locations suitable for Blusink deployments. Our innovative ocean-based carbon capture technology is designed to help fight climate change, and we’re looking for partners to join us in this mission.
Through our joint venture (JV) model, you can share in the profits from the sale of carbon credits generated by our deployments. If you have access to stable seafloor areas between 0m and 30m deep, we can bring the technology, expertise, and operational support to make it happen. Together, we can create a sustainable revenue stream while helping the planet.
